Black Dahlia is the debut full-length album by Spanish heavy metal band MetalkrüsA, released in 2025 and distributed worldwide by The Fish Factory.
Although the album takes its title from the famous Black Dahlia case, it is not a concept album. Only the title track directly refers to that story, while the rest of the songs explore a variety of themes including inner struggle, emotional conflict, darkness and resilience.
Musically, Black Dahlia blends traditional heavy metal foundations with melodic lead guitar passages, powerful riffs and dynamic arrangements. The album showcases the band’s characteristic balance between melodic intensity and aggressive metal energy.
Two of the songs included on the album, “Theia” and “Lights and Shadows”, were originally released in 2024 as part of the maxi-single Theia. Both tracks were later remastered and incorporated into the album.
The record features vocalist Eloy Peula, guitarist and main composer Emilio S. Ortega, bassist Antonio Mauricio and drummer Pepe Bermejo.
