The Samurai rise again from the Land Of The Rising Sun! A Heavy Metal Invitation from The Far East Japan that will lead you to the Promised Land! COVEN JAPAN, who released their first full-length album at the end of 2023, are returning with the second album “Promised Land”, following two European tours including festivals such as Up The Hammers and Muskelrock. COVEN JAPAN will be touring in Europe again after the release of “Promised Land”.
Formed in 2016 (as Coven) by Taka (vocals) and Akihiro (guitars), they changed to COVEN JAPAN in 2019, and are devoted to traditional heavy metal, as we know it, from bands such as early Iron Maiden, Tokyo Blade, Saxon, Riot and many more, while they also are influenced by the ’70s hard rock and Japanese metal, including Japanese animation songs.
“Promised Land” is full of catchy and melodic twin lead guitars, captivating riffs, and singing melodies. The band’s unique characteristic is the mix of Japanese and English lyrics. In addition, COVEN JAPAN’s songs have become more epic and addictive, so they will satisfy not only their fans, but also a wider range of traditional heavy metal maniacs.
