WHO ON EARTH UNLEASH NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR “DOUBLE OR NOTHING” FROM LATEST ALBUM “IT TAKES THE VILLAGE”
New Jersey Hard Rockers Announce Oct/Nov Shows and Dec “Outlaws & Titans Holiday Tour” Dates
New Jersey hard rock powerhouse WHO ON EARTH has released the official music video for “Double or Nothing,” a hard-hitting track from the band’s recently released sophomore album, It Takes The Village. Never ones to shy away from difficult subject matter, WHO ON EARTH confront the devastating consequences of gambling addiction with “Double or Nothing,” exploring the destructive cycle of obsession, false hope, and the collateral damage left behind. Driven by the band’s signature blend of muscular riffs, pounding rhythms, and commanding vocals, the song delivers a sobering message wrapped in an unapologetically heavy rock anthem.
The accompanying video brings the song’s dark subject matter into focus, underscoring the human cost of addiction and the dangerous illusion that one more bet could change everything.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the track, the band explains:
“Double or Nothing is a graphic depiction of the ugliness of gambling addiction. The thrill of the bet takes pole position in the gambler’s life and, like drugs and alcohol, can destroy the lives of the entire family. The insanity of it is that despite the wreckage, the gambler still thinks he will beat the odds… next time.”
“Double or Nothing” is taken from WHO ON EARTH’s latest full-length album, It Takes The Village, which is out now. Produced by acclaimed guitarist and producer Mike Orlando (Category 7, Adrenaline Mob), the 12-track record delivers an uncompromising fusion of classic heavy metal, modern hard rock, and emotionally charged songwriting.
Drawing inspiration from the likes of Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Alice in Chains, and Tool, WHO ON EARTH have carved out their own identity through an explosive combination of old-school heaviness, contemporary production, and lyrics that tackle real-world struggles. Featuring standout tracks including “Vigilance,” “Any Other Way,” “Shadows,” and “Good Man Down,” the album captures a band firing on all cylinders and continuing to build momentum with each new release.
