Recorded with Sean Gregory at SMG PRODUCTIONS for maximum emotional and sonic impact

You are not simply listening to Human God—you are being summoned into the eye of a storm that Toronto’s VALYEAR has meticulously crafted as the third single from their forthcoming sophomore album, AN INVITATION TO CHAOS, set for release on March 24th, 2026. This is not background noise or fleeting entertainment; it is a confrontation, the latest installment in a bold, multi-chapter narrative that pulls no punches in its exploration of personal unraveling and hard-won clarity. With Human God, the band deepens the album’s central thesis: that chaos isn’t an event, but a slow, seductive descent born from addiction, narcissism, and the quiet rituals of self-betrayal. You feel every moment of that descent through Geoff Wilson’s brooding, groove-laden guitar lines, Joe Petralia’s suffocating bass presence, and Mane Ribeiro’s piston-driven drumming—all recorded with surgical precision by Sean Gregory at SMG PRODUCTIONS. What makes the track so powerful isn’t its volume, but its restraint: the way it tightens like a vise, mirroring the psychological imprisonment at its core. This is music that refuses to let you look away, forcing you to witness lead vocalist Chad Valyear’s journey from denial to disintegration to dawning self-awareness. The lyrics don’t glorify collapse—they autopsy it, laying bare the moment when resistance crumbles and the internalization of toxicity becomes irreversible. Every repetition, every muted explosion, serves the story. Released via SelfMadeRecords L.L.C and distributed by EARACHE RECORDS, AN INVITATION TO CHAOS positions VALYEAR not as purveyors of noise, but as architects of a visceral, unflinching narrative. You aren’t just hearing an album—you’re being invited into a reckoning.

BAND BIO:
Emerging from Toronto, Ontario, VALYEAR has rapidly ascended as a hard-charging force in the alternative/metal landscape, channelling the raw energy of Skid Row, the rebellious spirit of Mötley Crüe, and the intense grit of Drowning Pool into a sound that is unmistakably their own. Founded in 2014 by the dynamic frontman Chad Valyear, the band solidified its identity with the 2017 self-titled EP-a powerful statement recorded with studio collaborators that ultimately paved the way for a permanent, tightly-knit lineup featuring Geoff Wilson on guitars, Joe Petralia on bass, and Mane Ribeiro on drums. Together, they deliver not just music, but an electrifying experience defined by moody intensity, razor-sharp precision, and an undeniable on-stage camaraderie that resonates deeply with fans. VALYEAR’s signature blend of grooveladen riffs and introspective, emotionally charged lyrics revives a long-missing swagger in modern rock-a bold, authentic presence that refuses to be ignored. With every performance, they reclaim the soul of hardhitting rock ‘n’ roll, forging deep connections with audiences and leaving an indelible mark on every stage they command. More than just a band, VALYEAR represents a revival-proving that passion, power, and unity still have a dominant place in today’s musical world.
ALBUM INFO:
VALYEAR AN INVITATION TO CHAOS shares the ugly side of addiction, narcissism, and promiscuity that comes in active drug use. The album is the story of a man’s ascent to enlightenment from the darkest of bottoms. It follows the journey of lead singer, Chad Valyear’s fall and rise into a broader spiritual world with it’s dark but inviting lyrical content, hard hitting musical execution by guitarist, Geoff Wilson, bassist Joe Petralia and drummer, Mane Ribeiro. An Invitation To Chaos is a searing, unvarnished chronicleof Chad Valyear’s tumultuous journey through a life shaped by trauma, self-destruction, and the relentless pursuit of redemption. Born into an environment where violence was a constant and stability a myth, Valyear’s narrative snakes through the underbelly of a world where biker-bar grit, substance-fueled oblivion, and the seductive allure of rock ‘n’ roll collide leaving wreckage in their wake. This isn’t a sanitized account of struggle; it’s a visceral dive into the raw, unfiltered chaos of a man who survived the gravitational pull of addiction, fractured relationships, and the corrosive weight of inherited pain. With a voice that marries brutal honesty to dark humor, Valyear dissects his own failures and triumphs, offering no easy answers but illuminating the messy, jagged path to selfawareness. For professionals navigating complex personal or organizational challenges, his story serves as a stark reminder that transformation is not born from perfection but from the courage to confront one’s shadows, piece together fragments of brokenness, and forge meaning in the aftermath of col lapse. It’s a testament to the resilience of the human spirit-messy, unglamorous, and ultimately, defiantly alive

BEHIND THE TRACKS:
AN INVITATION TO CHAOS: Shows a new level and a new vulnerability for VALYEAR as they explore all
their influences and visit musical areas they avoided in the past. It is a dark but victorious journey through the
mind of a soul that has found its place in the world it doesn’t understand.
PSYCHO: Sees the sadness of the people around you not knowing what to do with you when you are no longer
the source of their chaos and setting you up to fail.
PALE FACE: Tells the story of watching the people or person you love die in front of you as you fight for your
own life.
SCREAMS: Visits the life of somebody who doesn’t realize how transparent they are in their struggles. Believing
nobody can see their pain not realizing so many people suffer from the same mental illnesses and are able to see it
very clearly, which keeps them in their chains as they are afraid to ask for help, but being able to extend the hand
needed to pull them out of the fire.
HUMAN GOD: Places humans on a false pedestal while replacing addiction with a need for human connection.
SUFFER: (Featuring Marc Rizzo of Soulfly): Shows the gift of desperation. Begging for the strength to either die
or stay alive.
SLOWLY WE FADE: Shows what happens once people can’t place you in the box, they see you in anymore. It’s
about losing your former self and the exhaustion of rebirth.
