Following the previously released first single “Soul Vampires”, “Flame Of Resistance” delivers another powerful glimpse into the band’s forthcoming album. Driven by sharp riffs, dynamic songwriting and a commanding chorus, the track highlights TORIAN’s ability to blend melodic intensity with a strong, modern edge.

Lyrically, “Flame Of Resistance” explores themes of rebellion, self-determination and the fight against corruption. The song tells the story of an underground movement rising up against oppressive and greedy rulers, ultimately taking control of its own destiny.

The band comment: “‘Flame Of Resistance’ is about an underground movement that decides to take its fate into its own hands and overthrow the corrupt, greedy rulers. In general, it’s about the right of every individual to defend their own interests without regard for the outside.”

German power metal force TORIAN have announced the release of their new studio album “The Lost Legion Rising”, set to be unleashed on May 8, 2026 via Massacre Records. The album will be available as Mediabook, Vinyl and digital.

With their fifth studio album “The Lost Legion Rising”, TORIAN present themselves with a revamped sound and some of the strongest material of their career to date. Rooted in European power metal and influenced by US metal and thrash, the album combines precision, melody and intensity – always with a strong sense for memorable hooks.

The songwriting is more diverse and straight to the point than ever before. From fast-paced tracks like “Warpriest” to anthemic highlights such as “Soul Vampires” and the epic closing piece “Katharsis”, the album showcases a band that sounds heavy, melodic and focused.

“The Lost Legion Rising” was produced and mixed by Alexander Thielmann at Room 14 Studio and mastered by Sebastian “Seeb” Levermann (Orden Ogan) at Greenman Studio, ensuring a powerful and crisp sound that fully represents the band’s dynamic range.
