In October 2026, STRÖM will release their third album, Mer Ström Åt Folket (“More Power to the People“) – a record that finds the band at the very top of their game. Rawer, heavier, and more confident than ever before, STRÖM delivers what is undoubtedly their strongest material to date.
The new single and video, “Det Säger Boom!”, clearly showcase the direction the band has chosen: more energy, more attitude, and above all, more STRÖM.

“Det Säger Boom is a heavy and dark song about a sensual and bright moment in life. It’s a different way of describing happiness and love. A song that truly stands out on the upcoming album!”
Over the years, STRÖM has shared stages and tour buses with artists such as Thundermother, Royal Republic, HammerFall, and Nestor. In the autumn of 2025, the band joined Nestor on a widely acclaimed tour across Germany, further strengthening their growing international reputation.
The album was recorded at Tilt Studio in Strömstad and once again mixed by acclaimed sound engineer Johan Forsman Löwenström, known for his work with artists including The Soundtrack of Our Lives and Håkan Hellström.
STRÖM is back. Harder. Rawer. Stronger. And this time, it’s not enough to just hear about it. It has to be experienced.
