The debut album from Brazilian heavy metal band Phantom Star. Inspired by classic acts such as Savatage, King Diamond, and Queensrÿche, the band has quickly established itself as a rising force in the Brazilian metal scene through strong songwriting, powerful live performances, and growing international recognition.

The limited-edition vinyl release will be officially launched on July 11 in Curitiba during the anniversary celebration of the legendary Let’s Rock store, where Phantom Star will share the stage with Riot and Trovão. This release marks both an important milestone for the band and the opening chapter of Frequency Junction Records’ mission to support outstanding independent heavy metal artists.

The band has gained attention through the singles “Touch of a Curse” and “I Am The Storm”, while building a strong reputation on stage alongside renowned acts including Picture, Vandenberg, and HammerFall.

Down from the cold depths of cosmos PHANTOM STAR releases its much anticipated self titled debut album “Phantom Star”.

Comprising 8 songs, the album is a strong declaration of love for traditional Heavy Metal, 80s US Prog Metal and even 70s rock, with influences ranging from Savatage, Queensryche, Fates Warning, Virgin Steele, King Diamond, Black Sabbath and Blue Oyster Cult. Punchy heavy riffs meet complex arrangements, showcasing maturity and versatility.

In contrast to an era dominated by digital market and artificial intelligence, the band presents a detailed and organic material, carefully crafted graphics-wise and sound-wise.

The official release concert will take place in the historical venue “Ópera de Arame”, in Curitiba, on July 11th, aside Brazilian rising stars TROVÃO and US legend RIOT-V as headliner.

PHANTOM STAR’S album is available today on the main streaming services, with a beautiful edition in CD by Brazil’s Classic Metal Records, and a limited translucent-green vinyl edition is coming soon by US-based Frequency Junction Records.
