The long-awaited debut album from India’s rising thrash metal force, KASCK, is finally here: The Universal Lie. This album is a bold, existential odyssey, questioning the nature of life, death, and our place in the universe. From the opening cosmic call to arms, to the nightmare depths of ‘Terror of the Night,’ and the warrior’s saga in ‘A Bastard’s Tale,’ each track is a step in a loop, opening with a question and closing with ‘Oblivion,’ a reflection in the unknown. Dive into KASCK’s thrash manifesto and break free from the lies.
Here’s what the band has to say about the album-
Just as we challenged the way we think through these lyrics, we pushed ourselves musically too.
There hasn’t been a single moment on this album that wasn’t sincere.
Every note, every production choice, every lyric, every detail of the artwork, every decision that went into making this record, everything carries a part of who we are: our ideas, our influences, our inspirations, our experiences, and our souls, stitched together into this album.
If we had to describe this record in one word, it would be sincerity. Because our fans deserve nothing less.
We stand for something real. Something authentic.
And we always will.
This album doesn’t give you answers. It asks questions. About what we believe, what we accept, who we are, and what is truly real.
So open your mind, your heart, and your soul. Listen. Question. Agree.
Disagree. Find your own meaning
Think for yourself.
Perhaps that is the only real and true privilege we have on this planet.
