GENERATION STEEL — release new single & video “Witches Cross” and kick-off the album pre-order for “Steelmachine” (Out: October 16th – Fireflash Records/Edel)

For the German heavy metal quintet GENERATION STEEL, the signs are literally pointing to a storm: The band has strengthened its line-up in many areas and is ready to launch a true head-banger – their third studio album, “Steelmachine.”

The previously released title track already perfectly showcased the direction they’re heading in. With new members Thilo Herrmann (guitar, ex-RUNNING WILD, ex-GRAVE DIGGER, ex-RISK) and Mike Stark (vocals, FEANOR, STORMBURNER), the band has reinvented itself. Together with Piet Sielck, who has already put his stamp on classics by GAMMA RAY, BLIND GUARDIAN, and GRAVE DIGGER, they forged nine steel-hard tracks that perfectly embody traditional heavy metal.

The song is meant to remind us how important it is to prioritize truth, humanity, and critical thinking over prejudice,” explains band founder and guitarist Jack The Riffer.
