Swedish Hard Rock band BLACK BLOOD Sthlm are ready to open a new chapter with the release of their brand-new single “In the Wind”, the first track taken from their upcoming EP BLACK BLOOD Sthlm, set for release on September 18, 2026.

Following the band’s debut single “Avalon”, “In The Wind” marks the first step towards BLACK BLOOD Sthlm’s first structured release, a four-track EP that will introduce a broader and more defined vision of the band’s sound. Rooted in the tradition of 1970s hard rock, the group combines powerful songwriting, strong arrangements and a direct, organic approach shaped by decades of experience within the Scandinavian rock and metal scene.

Built around the band’s classic hard rock foundations, “In the Wind” delivers a strong and immediate statement. The song captures the energy, drive and melodic instinct at the heart of BLACK BLOOD Sthlm, presenting the band with a sound that is both familiar and fresh: heavy, song-oriented and deeply connected to the timeless language of guitar-driven rock.

BLACK BLOOD Sthlm bring together four musicians with remarkable backgrounds and long-standing international experience. The band features Matti Alfonzetti on vocals, known for his work with Jagged Edge, Bam Bam Boys and Skintrade; Stefan Bergström on guitar, also known for Skintrade, as well as his work with Baltimoore, Zinny Zan and Martina Edoff; Johan Kullberg on drums, whose career includes Lion’s Share, Zan Clan, Therion and session work with HammerFall during extensive world tours; and Jarmo Lindell on bass/vocals, an experienced musician who has worked with Cloud Circus, Andreas Johnson and as a solo artist.

The upcoming EP will feature four tracks: “In The Wind,” “I Know You Believe,” “Fallen Angel” and “Holy Man.” As the first single, “In The Wind” sets the tone for what is to come: a focused and authentic hard rock release built on experience, chemistry and a shared musical vision.

With “In the Wind,” BLACK BLOOD Sthlm move beyond the first introduction offered by “Avalon” and begin to reveal the full strength of the band. The single stands as a powerful opening statement for the EP campaign and a clear sign of a band ready to make its mark on the international hard rock scene.
