ZOMBEAST hails from the vast desert and dense forest of central/northern Arizona.

Formed in 2005, ZOMBEAST quickly rose to prominence and released their debut album titled “Zombeast” in 2006 on Horror High Records.

Growing up on a consistent flow of Danzig, Slayer, AFI, and 80’s thrash metal and punk, the band quickly became known for their own cross-over blend of dark punk/metal.

Now, the band consists of Mario Montechello (vocals), Jared Smith (guitar), Alex Young (lead guitar), Kyle Smith (drums) and Steve Salcido (bass).

The band’s newest release “Heart of Darkness”, redefines ZOMBEAST in a darker, heavier, and angrier tone without losing sight of their core sound and style.

With the addition of new members Kyle Smith, Alex Young, and Steve Salcido, the band reaches new technical ground not seen in their prior work.

“Heart of Darkness” is 10 new songs of heavy riffs, wailing guitars, thunderous drums, and haunting vocals, that is the best version of ZOMBEAST to date.

“Heart of Darkness” will be released worldwide on May 17th, 2024 via Massacre/ Fiend Force Records.
