FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Valentin The Mad Releases Instrumental Track “Devil’s Courtyard”
Instrumental solo artist Valentin The Mad has released “Devil’s Courtyard”, a heavy-thrash metal track.
The track is a part of his ongoing “Deadly Obsession” solo project, and the video for it, due to the Coronavirus lockdown was shot on a rooftop.
Devil’s Courtyard was written and recorded by Valentin The Mad, drums were made with the assistance of Jonathan Mekarkash (Hell Of A Mess).
On the creation of the track:
“This release is a remake of a demo I made back in 2014. The idea was to revisit the track, re-record everything from scratch, flesh the ideas out, but keep the spirit and the vibe of the original. And now, after much work of recording, mixing, experimenting, and way too many release candidates, I’m really excited to finally have it out.
As I was making it the COVID crisis broke out, and when the time came to film the video, my country was in the middle of the lockdown with strict movement restrictions, so I decided to film the video on an improvised set on my roof.”

Artist info:
Valentin The Mad is a lead guitarist – solo artist from Haifa, Israel.
The “Deadly Obsession” solo project he is currently working on is instrumental music, centered around the electric guitar and the guitar solo. The music in the project varies from soft rock, through prog to heavy-thrash metal with influences from other musical genres as well.
With a few exceptions, Valentin writes, records and produces the music in the solo project.
One of his biggest influences is Metallica. Kirk Hammet’s guitar solos made him pick up the electric guitar at the age of 15 and the balance of heavy riffs, leads and solos in their instrumentals greatly influenced Valentin’s approach to writing music.
He also runs the gaming channel Random Madness on Youtube, in which he reviews and discusses blood and gore effects in video games and conducts interviews with developers.
The demo of “Devil’s Courtyard” was used in the intro of the reviews, where it was heard over 4 million times in the various videos.
