TYTUS is a NWOTHM (that’s New Wave Of Traditional Heavy Metal) that calls ITALY their home. These guys make no bones about it, flat-out, old school sounding metal! I can really hear the older Iron Maiden and Metallica influences here, really solid stuff. Don’t be fooled, this is a newer band with SINGING as opposed to growling – which I prefer. Really solid musicianship, singing and song writing!

It is really refreshing to keep finding bands that play more traditional metal. I have to thank TYTUS band member Mark Simon Hell for finding me! LOL! he was cool enough to contact me on Facebook and when I watched and listened to the video posted above, for the song DISOBEY, I was hooked. There’s a lot guitar work in these songs, but it’s not over done. Some of my favorite tracks were DISOBEY, THE INVISIBLE, MOVE ON OVER and THE DARK WAVE. Killer stuff, no fucking filler on this album!!!

OLD SCHOOL HEAD BANGERS get on board with TYTUS!!!! This is a band that kicks ass and you will not be disappointed. We can only hope that they’re around for a long time and keep releasing quality albums like RAIN AFTER DRAUGHT!!!!!
