The first full length album from the Colombian Heavy Metal band Thunda featuring various old and new members and including songs that were composed between 2007 and 2021.

Thunda was born in the year 2007, in Santa Marta – Colombia, when former members Luis Rodriguez (Bass Guitar), Eduardo Zaccaro (Lead Guitar) and Jhonatan Diaz (Lead Guitar) decided to start making music in a serious way. By that time, they started looking for a singer and then Arturo Puentes joined the band. Two drummers were part of the band between the start until mid-2008 when the third drummer Jaider Jerez joined and then the band officially started to perform concerts.The first composed song was “Fighting” at early 2008 followed by Savage Lover, Crash and Thunda and then Eduardo had to leave the band because he was about to start studying music production out of the city. In the year 2009, they released the EP titled “Thunda” with Marlon Morales, who was their new singer and Hugo Rosenstiehl, who replaced Eduardo.

In early 2012, Luis Rodriguez left the band because he moved out of the city and then various songs and members were around being part of a lot of events and concerts until 2016 when Eduardo and Luis came back to the band to share stage with Raven in Bogotá and then the band started to rehearsal more often with Gildardo Martinez who played the bass to replace Luis who still was living out of Santa Marta. In late 2019, the band completely stopped activities due to some internal problems and then Covid 19 emergency started.

In March 2020, Luis Rodriguez and Eduardo Zaccaro decided to release the single “Fighting” as a remake of the first composed song at 7” Clear – Vinyl format alongside the band ADS and featuring Michael Arias who was part of Thunda and recorded the vocals before the band stopped activities in 2019. In that moment, they realized it was a great idea to start recording an album where the whole history of Thunda could be heard and after lots of hard work and consistence they’ve released the album “Enlightened” in CD format, produced by “Tell a Story Records” and published by the label “Repulsion Records”.

Now a days, Thunda is looking for a path to follow and hopefully would be bringing more music to the listeners.
