THE LAST ROCKSTARS (Featuring Yoshiki from X JAPAN – Japan) – Release self titled single/video #TheLastRockStars #Yoshiki

THE LAST ROCKSTARS, a newly formed outfit comprised of four of Japan’s biggest rock stars – YOSHIKI, HYDE, SUGIZO, and MIYAVI announce the release of their highly anticipated first single on Melodee Music, aptly titled “The Last Rockstars (Paris Mix),” on Friday, December 23rd. The single will be distributed globally by Ingrooves Music Group to music streaming services. (Ingrooves is part of Virgin Music Group, the newly formed global independent music division of Universal Music Group.) Melodee is a next-generation platform connecting artists and creators with their fans.

This release marks the first of what will be a big roll out of new music to come from the group through 2023. A music video for the hard hitting, alternative rock anthem is also scheduled to drop the same day.

The announcement comes on the heels of a worldwide live reveal on November 11th in Tokyo, where the four international rock legends announced a series of “Live Debut” shows scheduled for early 2023 in Tokyo, New York, and Los Angeles. The group most recently added a second show at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom and are scheduled to play Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium in February 2023. Tickets for all shows are on-sale now.

The idea to form THE LAST ROCKSTARS came together organically according to all members. Under the shared goal to “make the world rock,” the group have been actively collaborating on new music, with highly anticipated releases to come through 2023.

YOSHIKI said, “Because I was traveling around the world, I finished recording in Paris remotely with the US and Japan. That’s why we call this the “Paris Mix”. When I composed this song, I was imagining all 4 of us together combining dance music and rock. Let’s dance to this song.”

The worldwide release date of THE LAST ROCKSTARS’s first single “THE LAST ROCKSTARS (PARIS MIX)” has been confirmed for 12/23/2022.
The music video for this song, lyrics and music by YOSHIKI, will also be released on the same day. A teaser clip has already been revealed ahead of the official release.

This new song will be distributed globally by Melodee Music/Ingrooves Music Group.

The band will be performing in Tokyo, New York, and Los Angeles starting January 2023. Due to the overwhelming response from fans all over the world, a second show in New York was recently added. Tickets for the Tokyo shows have already gone through a round of pre-orders and will be available for general sales starting 10:00am on 12/24/2022 (JST).
