After 25 years and 12 studio albums, SuidAkrA undoubtedly belongs to the spearhead of the German metal scene. The Celtic-mythological concept of the band is inseparably connected with the Belgian artist and illustrator Kris Verwimp, who is also the creative mind behind the lyrical concept. After countless tours around the globe, the band was the first metal band ever to perform in 6 different cities in India during their 2014 tour.

On the occasion of their 25th anniversary, the band moved to the Gernhart Studio in the summer of 2019 to record a proper anniversary album featuring their best classics under the wing of Martin Buchwalter. All recorded tracks were chosen by fans in a Kickstarter project. As a bonus, former member Marcel Schoenen made his return to record his vocal lines, so the classic SuidAkrA-feeling of those old songs sound as fresh and polished as possible.

“Echoes Of Yore” is released in a lavishly illustrated DigiPak as a double CD/DVD, which contains the 10 newly recorded tracks as well as a bonus data media on which the 45-minute live show from this year’s Wacken Open Air is included as a full HD file. The album will also be released as a vinyl edition at the same time.
