STONE HORSES is a rock band from the Mid-Atlantic area of the U.S. with Southern leanings. Influenced by Led Zeppelin, Highly Suspect, Jack White, Robert Johnson, Blind Willy Johnson, Muddy Waters, MC5, White Stripes, Black Keys and Jimi Hendrix.

STONE HORSES is an Alternative Rock band from the Mid-Atlantic. Stone Horses is a band of old souls… guitarist Justin Parks knows his Rock origins and history. From Bluesmen Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters to Jimmy Page, Hendrix and Slash Justin sites them all as influences. Singer John Allen draws on everything from those previously mentioned early Blues Pioneers to Chris and Chris Cornell. “We just want to make music that is timeless” states the singer. “Writing songs about the human condition is what I like to do; struggle, love, and triumph are themes I want to convey. But, sometimes we need to blow off steam and have a party too”. Along With Justin and JA, is bassist Rick Reynolds and drummer Jason Heiser combining for rhythm section giving nods to James Jameson’s heavy Motown Bass groove and John Bonham respectively.
