STAGEWAR is a tireless live band from the greater Frankfurt am Main area who never gave up pursuing their goals even under the most miserable conditions. In their 20-year band past, the band gained a lot of live experience.
The metal band, which was founded in 2003 by the two guitarists Kimon Roggenbuck and Dominik Dezius, then sixteen years old, has played well over 200 concerts to date and made a name for itself in the underground across Europe.
THRASH’N’ ROLL: The band itself describes their music as straight-up thrash with a good portion of rock’n’roll. After releasing four self-directed demo CDs, self-made music videos and several live shows, the critically acclaimed debut album “Living On Trash” (on VinterSon) was released at the end of 2011, the release of which was followed by two self-organized European tours.
In October 2016 the second long player “Killing Fast” was released on the Bellaphon / bacillus label. The album was celebrated in the scene and received consistently good reviews. The limited special edition on cassette was sold out immediately and found a strikingly large number of listeners in Asia.
Music videos were released for the singles “Isolated”, “No Place To Go”, “Waste Of Time” and “Living Hell”. This was followed by the “Killing Fast” tour.
At the end of September 2021, the third long player “Danger To Ourselves” was released via Black Sunset/MDD Records.
The new EP “INTERLUDE TO SELF-DESTRUCTION” will be released on September 22nd, 2023. It will be available digitally and on a red 10″ record, limited to 300 copies.
