Bio – Social Scream

Social Scream is a Heavy Metal band from Sparta – Greece formed in 2008 . The band at her first steps performed as cover band with many live shows inside and outside her hometown. After a while the need for personal expression drove Vlasis Diamantakos (guitarist/vocalist/songwriter) to lead the band by composing and releasing a debut record called ”Epiclesis” at June 2014 .The release of ”Epiclesis” was followed by a release party and 2 headline shows at Athens and Sparta .With new material along the way , there came a record deal with New Dream Records. At June 2016 New Dream Records re-released ”Epiclesis” and 2 years later released the second band’s record called ”Initiation to the Myths”. Nowadays the band moving forward by performing live shows, completing the producing process of their third album, also proceeding to the re-recording of their first two albums.

Οι Social Scream είναι ένα Heavy Metal σχήμα απο την Σπάρτη που δραστηριοποιείται στην μουσική σκηνή από το 2008. Η μπάντα στα πρώτα της βήματα λειτουργούσε ως cover band δίνοντας αρκετά live εντός και εκτός Σπάρτης. Η ανάγκη όμως για δημιουργία προσωπικού υλικού και το όραμα του κιθαρίστα/τραγουδιστή/συνθέτη της μπάντας Βλάση Διαμαντάκου κίνησε τους μοχλούς για την υλοποίηση και κυκλοφορία του 1ου δίσκου της μπάντας με τίτλο ”Epiclesis” τον Ιούνιο του 2014. Η κυκλοφορία του ”Epiclesis” συνοδεύτηκε από ένα release party και δύο headline εμφανίσεις σε Αθήνα και Σπάρτη ενώ με νέο υλικό να προετοιμάζεται, σε συνεργασία με την New Dream Records επανακυκλοφόρησε το ”Epiclesis” τον Ιούνιο του 2016 και κυκλοφόρησε τον 2ο δίσκο της με τίτλο ”Initiation to the Myths” τον Ιούνιο του 2018. Σήμερα το συγκρότημα βρίσκεται στην τελικη διαδικασία παραγωγής του τρίτου δίσκου, επανηχογράφησης των δυο πρώτων δίσκων, καθώς και απόδοσης live εμφανίσεων.
