Kuopio-based death/thrash metal metallers SKULL ALTAR have released a visualizer video for the song “War Crimes (Disclosure Act),” taken from the band’s upcoming album “Diabolical” out on March 20, 2026

“Diabolical” showcases influences from the extreme metal greats of the 1980s and 1990s, but without copying anything. The songs tell about war, horror, hell, darkness, and human treachery.
SKULL ALTAR was founded in 2017. At that time, had been listening to thrash and death metal since the late 80s and early 90s, and had even played in some bands, so it was time to start finally their own band that would rage about those metal genres. Until 2020 the style was more thrash-oriented. The line-up changed over the years and the current expression is death metal-oriented, without forgetting the thrash roots. The band’s influences come from 1980s thrash and death metal music.
