Bio:
Sinful Way is Maryland based band from the late 1980’s – early 1990’s that has been reborn, hence the name of the album: Resurrection. Upon nearing the 30th anniversary of the original band’s inception, three founding members Jeff Kreipl, Matt Smith and Jeff Finnerin decided to reassemble for a commemorative jam session. Newer members Denny Grace and Mark Gable were added to bring the band back to its intended 5-piece lineup.

After getting back together, jamming, and reminiscing about old times. The guys decided to record the album that they never got an opportunity to complete in the past. Over the course of 2020, in pandemic lockdown, they recreated and recorded eight of the band’s previous tunes along with three more recent compositions to round out the project. The result is an album that covers a wide spectrum within the rock/metal genre, from heavy groove rock to power metal to a surprise ballad (or two). The intent was to breathe new life into these older songs by drawing on the collective members’ added life experience and increased musical abilities in order to turn good songs into something special.

The members of Sinful Way are all experienced musicians who have played and/or continue to play with a variety of acts in the Baltimore and Los Angeles areas including Stone, Vicious Wishes, Gable, Thrill Ride and Asking Alice to name a few.

If all goes well with Resurrection, the band has several more original Sinful Way tunes to recraft, along with numerous newer compositions. A follow up release is tentatively planned for some time in 2022.
