Founded around 2015 in the area of Nantes (France), Shade And Dust spent its first years to find its own musical path through the main influences of their members which lead them to combine the Death brutality and the Thrash riffing with some alternative keys. On the words side, the band approaches themes like fatality, absurdity of life, time or perceptions through their own view.

The adventure begins and the shows to follow are getting more and more important with appearance to the Motocultor Metal Fest “warm-up” 2017, Amarok Metal Fest 2018 or Nantes Metal Fest 2018. Great experiences allowing them to share some scenes with bands such as Deficiency, DeathAwaits, Flayed or Sticky Boys.

Shade and Dust enters 2019 at a turning point  new scenography for a new show, designed to carry their first album : ‘Erode’; produced @ the Vamacara studio (Loudblast, Dagoba, Joey Jordison, Les Tambours Du Bronx, Otargos,…).
