SEYR (Progressive Metal – Germany) – Announces Debut Album “FLUX” will be released on August 12, 2022 – Band also shared play through video for the song “Fi:l ” #Seyr

After long months of writing, recording, mixing & planning, SEYR is excited to release their
Debut Album ‘FLUX’ August 12th, 2022. 40 minutes of Progressive Metal – Heaviness,
softness & stories without dogma – that we want to share with you.

The Album
Written and recorded during times of great change and
challenge for us as a band and as individuals, this album
serves as an emotional outlet both instrumentally and
lyrically. It talks about shifts, consciousness, morality and
what’s happening within oneself, using our instruments &
voices as tools.
You can expect a variety of elements that tell a story
rather than just being a song: Atmospheric lead guitars,
driving riffs, melodic bass, heavy drums and many vocal
styles ranging from soft cleans to death growls.

The Band
We are a German-Syrian Progressive Metal Band
with a complete line-up since 2020. What started
instrumentally quickly turned into a concept focussed
traditional line-up with influences coming from
bands like Mastodon, Architects, Slipknot, Opeth,
New Order, World Music & much more.
Coming from very diverse musical backgrounds
(Technical Death Metal, Post-Rock, Orchestra just to name a few) we felt it all fuse together
with this project, which enables us to explore our own individual voices, not bound to any
expectations and free to use whatever is needed to convey what wants to be conveyed.
