This is an album with songs written between 1982 and 1985 that never got recorded at the time.

History
As teenagers in Östersund, Sweden, in the 80’s Håkan Mårtensson and Jonas Öhlund played together in the bands REBELLION, BIRD OF PREY and GRIME CRIME. They were inspired by NWOBHM and
bands like Black Sabbath, Heavy Load, and Scorpions. GRIME CRIME was featured on the compilation tape ROCK-DM 1986.

After the duo went their separate ways Håkan released a single with melodic AFTER TWELVE in 1988. Jonas released a single in 1989 and a CD in 2008 with AOR band PRIDE. In 2009 he released an album with LINEHOUSE called Take One.

Over the years Jonas had felt an urge to go back to the roots and play heavy metal again and joined forces with Håkan once again. In 2023 were eight songs, written between 1982 and 1985, recorded

The album
Living in poverty, Devil’s nest, Another world and The fight of the knight are REBELLION songs written in 1982-83. The BIRD OF PREY period 1983-84 are featured through Ritual of evil and Solar eclipse. Don’t turn away were written in 1985 for GRIME CRIME. The Mountain was a song that never got finished in the 80’s that Håkan and Jonas completed in 2023.
