SENSE OF FEAR INTERVIEW

Hello guys thank you for your time!!

Thank you for your hospitality.

– At the beginning of our interviews we tend to ask about the origins of the band’s name and how its members came together, but this time we will start with a deeper question for you! What’s your biggest fear?

Well, that’s a good question. I think our main fear is that we will be not be able to create and compose the music we want the way we want.

– And now you can tell us!! Who are Sense of Fear?!

I create the band back in 1998. Our first name was Holy Prophecy but we changed it in 1999 to Sense Of Fear. I think that fear is the main instinct for the human to survive.

– What’s the one key factor that motivates you to move forward in today’s “busy” music industry?

Well it’s very common that I’ll say but our passion for our music , our dedication to this band and our will the world to hear our music is our reason to fight with the monsters from the music industry in general.

– What bands “hide” behind your musical inspirations? Is there a specific band that you look up to?

The classics Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Helloween etc. Also the biggest black metal band in Hellas Rotting Christ.

– Is there a specific lyrical concept that you follow?

Our lyrics are mostly personal experiences, thoughts and feelings, our own perspective to the world. Also some good stories and metaphors. We get so much inspiration from the world we are living and the sadness we get from it every day.

– What’s the message that you want to pass in the music industry through your latest release “As the ages passing by..” and how your fans reacted to it so far?

There is the last song which has the big title “As The Ages Passing By, Time Still Runs Against Us” and it is also our longest song (9 minutes). These 9 minutes are my own perspective of what is happening to our world. It’s a strong song and we decide it to be the title of our album but with its half title so that every fan can fill it the way he wants.

The reaction of our fans its overwhelming and the most important is that they’ve searched the whole album in depth

– What’s your best memory from the recording sessions and what’s the funniest one?!

Best memory when the recordings where done ahahaha. Really it was a big relief for us. The funniest one you can hear it in our song “Lord Of The World” in the end. Man that was really funny.

– What are your plans for live performances?

We are planning a mini winter tour in Hellas and many things will come in the future.

– If you could choose one band to be the support act right now, which one would you choose?!

Iron Maiden for sure!!!

– Where do you see Sense of Fear in 5 years from now?

Hopefully with another 2 studio albums and many many gigs in good venues and festivals.
