RIOT ACT consists of original Riot members L.A. Kouvaris and Rick Ventura. Joining them is vocalist Don Chaffin, bassist Paul Ranieri and drummer Claudio Galinski.

The band traces it’s roots back to 1976 when formed by guitarist Mark Reale. Together with Guy Speranza, they’re high energy guitar driven sound spearheaded the new wave of heavy metal. L.A. Kouvaris appeared on Riot’s seminal Debut album Rock City.

Rick Ventura joined the lineup for the band’s second album Narita.

The 1981 release of Fire Down Under confirmed their status as one of the most important bands of the new wave of metal.

L.A. is excited to be working along side Rick for the first time to bring back an era for old and new fans who never had a chance to experience that period, keeping the music, sound and energy of the first three albums intact.

The 2018 induction of Rick & Lou into the Heavy Metal Hall of History confirms the contribution the band has made to metal!   

Riot Act continues in this tradition with new music and tour dates coming in 2020.
