REJECTION – new album called “A NEW AGE OF INSANITY” – review via Angels PR Music Promotion #rejection

Rejection is a Greek modern/groove metal band. “A New Age of Insanity” is their comeback album which comes after 6 bloody years they remained away from discography.

The album is an excellent mixture of Pantera of the after “Far Beyond Driven” era with Machine Head and Fear Factory. Rejection add in melodic chorus parts that make the whole album sound more up to date, modern and fresh, bringing in nu metal and metalcore elements that are most welcome in their sound.

The riffs are razor sharp yet the band grooves right at the beatdown parts of their songs. Sometimes at the chorus parts nice melodic guitars are used to remind the band’s connection with metalcore / modern metal.

The rhythm section is nice but I would love it thicker in terms of production.

The vocals are brutal and torn and mix hardcore with death metal and metalcore styles.

“Darkest Days” is the only song that is different in the album. It has spoken word parts, clean guitars except from their typical riffs and most of the necessary ingredients of a progressive/tech song.

All in all “A New Age of Insanity” is a nice album for fans of groove/modern metal with nice production and songwriting. If you are a fan of bands like Pantera, Fear Factory or Machine Head you will find something interesting in here.
