Celebrating 15 years of pure metal mayhem, Reject The Sickness is here to remind us why they’re an unstoppable force in the Death Metal scene. Taking their sound to new heights, Reject The Sickness has pushed the boundaries with THE MESSENGER creating a captivating blend of atmospheric intensity, relentless aggression, and hard hitting rhythms.

For “The Messenger,” Reject The Sickness teamed up with Alexander van der Wallen to create a gripping music video. The Messenger is a powerful song about overcoming childhood trauma, neglect, and abuse. It delves into fighting inner demons and finding ways to cope. This track, the second single from the upcoming full album releasing on May 30th, is a testament to resilience.

The full album, set to release later this year, was recorded in Ghent by Guy Vercruysse and Zoran Van Bellegem at the Clean and Dirty Studio. It was mixed in Sweden by Christian Svedin, who also mixed Vildhjarta’s debut album in 2013. The mastering magic was done by ‘Plec’ at The Panic Room in Sweden.

Their lyrics, though fictional, are enriched by the real-life experiences of their vocalist Guy, a dedicated social worker. Their sound is a powerful blend of rhythmical death metal, relentless melodic aggression, some atmospheric Black and a dash of metalcore. 2025 marks a monumental year for Reject The Sickness as they celebrate their 15th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, they’ll release a new album, “Signs of the End,” worldwide on May 30. The band continues to push their style, going the extra mile. Lyrically, they keep delving into the human psyche, exploring the struggles of growing up in a dark place with neglect. The lyrics delve into the minds of the neglected, showcasing their inner fear and hate, and how it fuels their desire for revenge.
