RED DEAD ROADKILL – their new album “Sweet Songs Of Anguish“ is out now
The band ‘Red Dead Roadkill’ once existed in a completely different constellation called ‘Road Kill’. After many miles, only guitarist and songwriter Bob Lee remained. When he did not know what to do, he decided to seek a vision far away from civilization in a sweat lodge in the Australian Outback. Although he did not know exactly what to look for, but the woman with the fiery red hair manifested after a short time as the singer RADD. Followed by Tohopka, Tooh and finally Sazzy O.
Her songs are about many topics that concern everyone in life and beyond. These themes are translated into lyrical images, often illuminated from different perspectives and emotionally processed by the music. It’s all about dealing with yourself and your fellow human beings in an ever-changing and fast-moving world. For the band it is important to give something to the listener, and also to stay open musically and diversified musically.
Their style of music is described by the band as Red Death Rock, a mixture of Hard Rock, Alternative and a pinch of Pop Rock – very mixed, with many facets and neat on the 12th Partly quiet, but nevertheless forward going rock with metal influences, nevertheless melodious and soulful.
A confrontation with the pain, the anger and the frustration set the band on the debut album “Sweet Songs of Anguish”, which appeared in 2018, which was mastered and mastered by Masterplan boss and ex-Helloween guitarist Roland Grapow.
