The new song offers another peek into Beyond The Exosphere, the band’s forthcoming album out next Friday (August 21).  Click here to watch “Under Control”  “‘Under Control’ was written at a time when I was forming my political opinions,” says the band’s Stephan Di Mambro. He adds: “I realized that in reality, left and right are two sides of the same coin. They both lie and stretch truths but most importantly they both seek control over your subconscious thoughts. Social media just enhances this control as you can easily be caught in an echo chamber where all you hear is what you want to see. We wanted to create a video that sheds some light on the fact that you are being programmed every day, every time you look at your phone or turn the TV on.”

As stellar as those records are, however, Pyramid Theorem’s forthcoming collection, Beyond The Exosphere, surpasses them in every respect.  Early on, Metal Injection writer Jordan Blum raved that the album’s lead single, “Freedom,”  “evokes the menacing fury of Symphony X, but with the melodic wisdom of, say, King’s X and Jolly.
