Born in 2020 and hailing from London, UK, PERPETUAL PARADOX have repeatedly impressed audiences throughout the UK and Europe with a barrage of absorbing live shows and a consistent stream of notable releases. The technical metallers release an onslaught of savage riffs, thunderous drums, enticing leads and powerful vocal lines, creating an immense sound that will engross anyone that is a fan of heavy music.
PERPETUAL PARADOX released their debut EP, Endless Cycle, in 2022, and it helped to introduce the ascending hard hitters to the scene. The energetic quintet continued to climb with their follow-up, Monophobia. But it was last year’s Condemnation EP, that really opened the doors for the band, and to date, PERPETUAL PARADOX have now shared stages with Crypta, Kassogtha, Downfall of Mankind, Collapse the Sky, Lokust, Veiled and Draconian Reign, as well as gaining the backing of Alyx Holcombe at BBC Radio One.
The Londoners are now poised to unveil their blistering debut album, Deathwish. The album showcases the band’s evolution, featuring intricate guitar work, forceful rhythms, and a balance of aggression and dynamism. Each track brings something new to the table while maintaining their signature intensity. Themes of societal decay, war, inner turmoil and self-destruction run throughout the album, reflecting the band’s observations on modern life and their surroundings.
With strong support from major tastemakers like Kerrang!, upcoming live shows, and festival appearances on the horizon, PERPETUAL PARADOX are poised to rise from the underground and take their place at the forefront of the UK music scene.
