First off , thanks to Massacre records for getting this album to me! Now, I don’t know how this happens, but PARAGON has slipped by my ears for a very long time, and I don’t like that! These guys formed in Germany in 1990 and have been true metal since day one. When I got on the media list for Massacre Records and they sent me the first song/video from the upcoming album, I was blown away! Heavy riffs, screaming guitars and real METAL vocals……. strong songs, this is metal! Drawing influence from all the classic metal bands, PARAGON has it all. If you like old Judas Priest, Accept,  & Saxon, you will love these guys.

It’s a double edged sword for me because I love this album, but I am so pissed I didn’t know about these guys sooner. Sometimes bands get “stuck” in their own Countries and others around the World miss out on quality music for whatever reason. Better late than never, right? I had brief interaction with the band on facebook messenger and they seemed really cool. So I am happy to review their album here on my site because if you like loud, straight ahead metal with NO filler, yeah, the new PARAGON album “Controlled Demolition” is a MUST HAVE!!!

I REALLY enjoyed this album, and I am now a BIG TIME fan of PARAGON!!! Do yourself a favor and get this fine piece of European Metal and crank it the fuck up!!!
