Hailing from Thionville, France, Palantyr – formerly known as Destrukt until August 2024 – returns with a vengeance, combining three tracks from their previous EP, The Ascent, with three brand-new, scorching anthems. Athena’s commanding voice leads the charge, calling speed freaks to battle with a dynamic fusion of speed and heavy metal, sharpened with an epic edge. Unlike many bands that look solely to the past, Palantyr dares to push forward, blending the ferocity of Mystik, the epic grandeur of Smoulder, and the raw heavy metal aggression of Blood Star, Tower, and Iron Griffin. The result? A perfect storm of speed, melody, and firepower.
