Today, Chilean Death/Thrash outfit NUCLEAR release their highly anticipated new EP ‘Violent DNA’ alongside a new video for “Siege of Power”, a cover paying homage to the legendary Napalm Death.
NUCLEAR’s seventh studio release, ‘Violent DNA’, brings devastating brutality to the table with three new rabid songs and three cover songs. This EP will transport you to the early 90s and won’t release its grip until the final note fades. Thick-sounding guitars, insanely fast drumming, and non-stop deafening screams are the key ingredients for this perfect storm.
Standout tracks “Violent DNA” and “Psychological Infanticide” showcase the South American quintet’s sonic hostility. Even before listening, the graphic and gruesome cover art captures your attention. Without a doubt, ‘Violent DNA’ will become a must-have for all metalheads in 2024.
This is something we cannot change: This is our ‘Violent DNA’.
NUCLEAR states:
“Humanity has a dark, violent and ruthless side. From our very origins as a species, we have been part of a cruel demonstration of imposing ourselves with violence on others. That is how it has been and that is how it will continue to be. It is that sort violence that inspires this new release. It is our core, our past, and our future and there is nothing we can do to change it”. |
