“Eschaton I. Reckoning Day” is the first part of a trilogy of mini-albums that will stretch on way into 2024. Seven tracks are included in this EP and most of them have the end of the world as the main theme. The sound is stronger, powerful, energetic and aggressive yet melodic than ever! If you are a fan of Megadeth, Judas Priest and Machine Head – this is the right sound for your ears!

MMI is the solo project created by producer/songwriter/front-man J. Bergman who has a history as the drummer in SLAPDASH (Nuclear Blast Records) and ROSICRUCIAN (Black Mark Prod). The MMI discography includes the debut “Box of Horrors” (2016, KMP), followed by “Reborn” (2018, GMR Music) and “Doomsday Clock” (2020, GMR Music). MMI appeared in the PS3/XBox game ”The Darkness” with two videos, and you can also see him in the Viktor Vran game ”Through The Ages-The Overkill edition” together with MOTÖRHEAD.

“Pandemic… cancelled shows, cancelled shows again… I’m bored… what to do? Write an album? Hey, why not three?!”
A FEW WORDS FROM J. BERGMAN ABOUT THE “ESCHATON” TRILOGY!
“The pandemic hit MMI just a few months after the released of the “Doomsday Clock” album.
We only did four shows promoting that album: the release party, a headlining show in Stockholm and two shows with NERVOSA.
Then it all went black! No tours, no one off shows, no festivals, nothing.
It didn’t take long until I started writing and I was in that “writing-mood-zone” again. I wrote the ground works for fifteen songs in
about two weeks and then started to practice the drums, aiming to recording them asap.
I suggested to the record label that we should release a trilogy of EP/Mini albums with just a few months apart rather than
fifteen songs on one album and they bought the idea, hook line and sinker.
First out in this trilogy of albums is called “ESCHATON I. Reckoning Day” and holds seven songs.
I also wanted to have a guest on each album and on this first one it’s none other than the charismatic DAVE HILL from the
NWOBHM/Progressive hard-rock pioneers DEMON from UK.
I met Mr. Hill sharing stage at a festival, and I was mesmerized by his amazing personality. I told him about my love for his band and that one
of the first songs I ever played with a band as a youngster was “Night of the demon”. We talked, laughed, had a few beers and he shared

It turns out my label GMR released a DEMON album a few years back, so my boss hooked my up with their manager to see if Mr. Hill would
be interested in doing a guest appearance and here we are, singing the song “Information Overload” which is written by me and
Erik Mårtenssonof ECLIPSE. There’s some heavy metal history in there for sure and a truly a great honor for me. A memory for life.
If you like “Doomsday Clock” (2020) you’re gonna love these albums. You’re in for a triple thrashin’ heavy metal treat for sure.
The theme of the trilogy are different takes on the end of the world . Not all the songs carries the theme but the cover-art of each album
and most songs do. The releases will stretch on way into 2024 so you got loads of metal, singles, videos, merch to look
