CHAOS RAINING OUT THIS FRIDAY – JUNE 12

Our new release “Chaos Raining” is out this Friday, June 12 via Bandcamp and all streaming platforms. We’re freakin’ pumped!

We must extend a massive THANK YOU to everyone who pre-ordered the limited edition CD which sold out in 17 hours. You guys are absolutely amazing.

Limited t-shirts are still available so if you haven’t picked one up yet, secure yours HERE on Bandcamp before they are gone for good.

HOW ELSE CAN YOU SUPPORT THIS RELEASE?

Streaming – If you’re on any of the streaming services (Apple Music, Spotify etc) please follow and/or bookmark our artists pages so you’ll be ready to listen on release day (June 12!). Spotify in particular is an important one for us, so if you do have an account follow us HERE and add our tracks to your playlists.

Social Media – On release day (June 12!), you can share the streaming links when you’re playing any of the tracks as well as the EP artwork. Keep an eye on our social media pages for any posts we make as your likes/comments/retweets/tags/etc are a huge help to get our posts to more people.

Merch Photos – As you receive your CDs and t-shirts, a selfie with a @lordofficial tag on any of the platforms is a very powerful move for us. We will share as many as we can. Get your face in the shot if you can!

Friends – Got a mate who’s yet to give our music a shot? Recommend them a track from the new release or any song from our back catalogue that will match their taste. PRE-ORDER INFORMATION

Lastly, for those who have pre-ordered CDs and T-Shirts, all orders where possible will be shipped no later than June 12. In some cases, possibly sooner. Please note however that due to COVID-19, there are certainly country restrictions in place by Australia Post, so some orders will not be immediately shipped.

We will notify people individually to let them know and we will happily hold any affected orders until restrictions have been lifted. You will receive a notification from Bandcamp when your item is shipped and if we need to let you know of any delays. Keep an eye out for these confirmation emails as we will be including some extra information in there for you.

AUSTRALIAN METALLERS LORD OPEN PRE-ORDERS FOR NEW EP “CHAOS RAINING”
Long-running metallers LORD have announced that pre-sales are now open for their forthcoming EP “Chaos Raining.”

Frontman LT explains, “One of the biggest surprises from our last album, Fallen Idols, was the fan reaction to the song ‘Chaos Raining.’ This definitely set the wheels turning on how we could offer a cool package to the people who enjoy it, which was a bit of a challenge in these current COVID-19 locked down times.”

He continues, “What we decided to do was release this as a limited edition 100 copy EP, hand numbered, with fantastic artwork by TRISTAN TAIT, which also includes a 9+ minute long 80s style Extended Mix of the title track, and a newly written and recorded song called ‘A World Insane’ which is a real prog/power banger! We’ve all been long fans of WAYNE JOYNER’s motion graphics work with clips he’s done for METAL CHURCH, DREAM THEATER and AYREON, amongst many others. As most people who follow LORD know, I’m usually our video guy but between the lockdown and the amount of work on my plate right now stopping me from getting into the edit suite, this became the perfect opportunity to work with Wayne, who created an incredible lyric clip for the song.”

Chaos Raining will be available as both a digital release and as a bundle that includes a T-shirt featuring the cover art, and a CD that is hand-numbered and limited to 100 copies only worldwide. Pre-orders are now open via Bandcamp.

Chaos Raining is taken from the 2019 album “Fallen Idols” which was LORD’s best selling and best reviewed album to date, reaching #20 in the Australian ARIA charts and #2 on the Australian Independent Labels chart.
