LANKESTER MERRIN: release “Mastermind” from upcoming album!
October 24th sees the release of “Dark Mother’s Child”, the third album by female fronted melodic metallers LANKESTER MERRIN. From heavy double bass numbers to varied mid-tempo rockers and rousing metal hymns, the nine songs have something for everyone who likes hard, highly melodic power metal that stays away from the usual symphonic corner despite female vocals. Of course, the multi-faceted vocals of front woman Cat Rogers, whose vocals are an almost unmistakable figurehead of the band, should not go unmentioned. As a first taste, “Mastermind” is the first complete song from the new work, which attentive fans have already heard in excerpts as a soundtrack in the official festival film of ROCKHARZ 2024.
