Oklahoma City’s hardest-working alternative metal band Kirra have revealed a new music video and single for the song ‘Caving In‘. “Caving In” is the first single from the band’s upcoming full-length album Redefine, which is set for a worldwide release on January 31^st. The video was directed by Mathew Austin at Stillpoint Visions. Watch it right now at this location.

“Caving In felt relevant for this time in our country where everything feels so chaotic and uncertain,” says guitarist Daxton Page, “so the song is about taking the chaos around you, confronting it bravely and turning it into order.” Vocalist Gabriel Parson adds, “The song came from a personal experience of mine which quickly evolved into a more general concept about having courage when everything around you feels like it’s collapsing.”

Kirra will release Redefine on January 31, 2020. The album contains an earful of seventeen melodious active rock anthems. It was produced by guitarist Daxton Page and mastered by Matt Mercado (Soil, The Outfit, Candlebox).

KIRRA is an alternative metal band from Oklahoma City, U.S.A. The band has toured nationwide on dozens of high-profile tours supporting the likes of Sevendust, Nothing More, and Saving Abel just to name a few. Redefine is the band’s third album, and it contains an earful of seventeen melodious active rock anthems. The songs cover a myriad of emotional topics, and the first single goes right for the jugular! Highlights on the album include “Caving In“, where the band talks about standing in the face of things around one’s life collapsing and confronting those issues steadfast to resolution. The second single “Free” fundamentally rejects the slippery slope of censorship and policing of people’s thoughts while outlining the conflicting relationship between technology and freedom. “Passageway” is the third single and it details the path one must travel to get out of toxic environments that prevent people from achieving their full potential, while not accepting the fate of others as one’s own.
