For those of you that might know them, JESUS CHRÜSLER SUPERCAR(from now in here will be referred to as “JCS”)is a down n dirty, gritty rock n roll band……and they’re a LOUD band too! They have been kicking ass since 2011 and have just released a new covers EP titled “Holy Chrüst – Horn Alley Live Session”. Tomas Skogsberg is responsible for mixing and mastering at the Sunlight Studio (The Hellacopters, Entombed, Amorphis). The EP features 4 cover songs, one selected by each band member paying tribute to their influences/childhood heroes. The songs are —

“Love Sick” by Bob Dylan
“Overkill” by Motorhead
“It’s Coming Down” by Danzig
“Ramblin’ Rose” by the legendary MC5

The EP shows JCS’ raw and powerful style of rock n roll, and yeah as I mentioned, they’re LOUD! Ya gotta love that! I always find it interesting when bands do these kind of tribute to their roots kinda of project because most often you see they don’t always listen to or are influenced by the same style of music they make. But aside from the Bob Dylan song, these cover tunes are spot on to the fury that lives inside the JSC rock n roll heartbeat! The band has also released videos for each tune on their youtube channel. You can see and hear what I am talking about – this EP is awesome, raw and powerful – enjoy the rock n roll madness!!!
