At the end of 2024, the band’s debut album, “Forged In Fire” , was sold on CD at their concerts and was immediately met with praise. Stylistically, the album can be categorized as an intersection of classic heavy metal and power metal in the vein of JUDAS PRIEST, HELLOWEEN, PRIMAL FEAR and ACCEPT. Some of it sounds familiar, but much of it is new and different. And so you keep pricking up your ears and the hairs on the back of your neck stand up with excitement. With “Forged In Fire” , IRON ECHO don’t have to hide from anyone and with album number 1, they are already on a par with some of the genre’s heavyweights. Produced, mixed and mastered by renowned sound guru Achim Köhler (PRIMAL FEAR, AMON AMARTH, SINNER, BRAINSTORM, NITROGODS, ZAR, BLACK+DAMNED, etc.), the sound of the album is in no way inferior to the nine original compositions in terms of quality and power.
After a few discussions between IRON ECHO and Metalapolis Records in the beginning of 2025, it was quickly agreed that the album and the band deserved more attention. “Forged In Fire” will be available to fans in stores for the first time on June 27th, 2025 with SPV as worldwide distributor.

Powerhouse vocalist Johnny Vox has excelled on the microphone with X-RAY, DOCTOR SPEED, SYRENCE, and FIREFORCE; guitarist Timo has zipped across the strings with SPITEFUEL and ZARDOZ; ZotteL is active in YEAHROCK and complements the guitar duo with melodic and powerful riffs; bassist Lois, formerly of ELWING, provides the band’s driving rhythm together with former SPITEFUEL drummer BJ.
