San José, Costa Rica – Thrash metal powerhouse HÖWLER returns swinging with their brand new single “The 9 To 5 Trap,” available now alongside a brand new official music video. The track is the first strike from the band’s upcoming fifth full-length album Beyond Mortal Control, set for worldwide release on May 8, 2026 via CDN Records on CD and vinyl.

Formed in 2009, HÖWLER has built a reputation for delivering relentless thrash rooted in the classic tradition while pushing their sound forward with razor-sharp precision. Over the years, the band has carved out a strong presence across Latin America and beyond, sharing the stage with heavy hitters like D.R.I., Whiplash, Angelus Apatrida, Destruction, Destroyer 666, and Malón.

The new single “The 9 To 5 Trap” captures the band at their most focused and aggressive. Fueled by blistering riffs, pounding rhythms, and a sharp lyrical attack on the grind of modern working life, the track delivers the kind of high-velocity thrash assault that has become HÖWLER’s trademark.
