I have been loving Hardcore Superstar for many years now and it baffles me how they aren’t a household name of every rocker and headbanger. Coming from the Gothenburg scene in Sweden HCSS have developed their own unique sound that blends upbeat and loud music paired with infectious and catchy vocals. The gang style backing vocals that would make Michael Wagner proud, have been a staple of the band for a long time now. They look and sound like rock stars and are just a flat out kick ass band! Their latest offering ABRAKADABRA is no different. All killer and no filler this is a balls to the wall assault on your ears – I fuckin’ love it!!!

OK….NOW do you get the picture? This band is so full of rock n roll energy!!!!! So you can hear the 80’s glam/sleaze influence but this is nowhere near as wimpy as some of that stuff was. You can also hear the heavier influence in the guitars and execution of the songs. So you get what sounds like a perfect blend of sounds to draw you in and smash your ears……. beg, borrow or steal it, but whatever you do – GET THIS ALBUM!!!!
