“Far Away” was inspired by the childhood dreams of a little girl who always believed in something greater, more important, more extraordinary. Growing up in an unsupportive environment, she found the strength to break free and chase her vision—leaving comfort behind in pursuit of something real. This is the first single from our upcoming album “They”. 🌌 Childhood dreams never die – they wait for the brave to return.
Guiltera – Far Away (Single)
Guiltera is an almost newly formed that counts two years of life, and have already released an album, entitled “Us”. Now at the eve of their second full-length work, the talk is about their newest single released, “Far Away”.
Guiltera’s sound is one of the times, of the currents and of the evolving called “modern” metal scene. There a lot of ideas stirred into the “Far Away”, influences and details that become visible instantly, since these details are the ones that shape Guiltera’s sound.
So, the sound is as modern as modern goes, with a crystal clear production and an upbeat rhythm and a vibrant vibe that almost feels strangely nostalgic, bringing out that ‘00s aesthetic. Nothing too prominent, but enough dose of the new millennia excitement to power up their sound. The breakdowns add the sense of heaviness into the mix with chugging guitars, while on the verses the nu-metal influences come into the spotlight shaping the sound, giving that “groovier” style.
As for the chorus, sparkly and bright, with a catchy distinctive vocal melody, it is the pop influenced part of the song, the hook that sells. “Far Away” is a song of its times, a contemporary anthem, a gateway and an introduction for the younger generations and audiences to the extreme sound, and an all in all great track by some young people that really love what they do and as a result they are doing a marvelous job.
