FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY (Deathcore – USA) – Will release their 6th album”Oh What The Future Holds” on January 14, 2022 via Nuclear Blast Records #FitForAnAutopsy

 

New Jersey six-piece Fit For An Autopsy have announced their sixth album, Oh What the Future Holds which will arrive on January 14th via Nuclear Blast. The band has also shared the video for first single “Far From Heaven.” This isn’t your typical deathcore album so get ready and buckle up!

“This song felt like a worthy introduction to premiere the album, picking up where we left off creatively from our last release,” the band says. “The world we exist in is clearly “far from heaven.” Institutions are exploited, and people are taken advantage of. There’s a power struggle between those in control and those who aren’t. This is a fairly literal reflection on the world today.”

 

• Fit For An Autopsy aren’t just blurring, but eradicating the lines between technical metal virtuosity, death metal menace, hardcore intensity, melodic insidiousness, and abstract approaches. They embody an uncompromising vision of their own.

• Oh What the Future Holds was written and produced by the band’s own guitarist Will Putney (Every Time I Die, Body Count, Knocked Loose) at his Graphic Nature Audio studio.

• The band will be out on the road this winter, view dates here. Joining them will be Enterprise Earth, Ingested, Signs of the Swarm, and Great American Ghost.

• FFAA average 250-300k monthly listeners on Spotify alone with “Far From Heaven” having already been streamed nearly half a million times.

• The album’s cover art was once again created by Adam Burke who also did the artwork for The Great Collapse (2017) and The Sea of Tragic Beasts (2019).

 

Survival depends on evolution. It’s clear that Fit For An Autopsy have embraced that mantra as they continue to perpetually evolve with each subsequent body of work.
