EUPHORIA – check out their album “Nanotech”, out now via Bandcamp #euphoria
Euphoria Ω is a Sci-Fi Thrash metal outfit hailing from Detroit, MI.
Heavily influenced by bands such as Death, Metallica, Sepultura, Slayer, Vio-lence, Sadus, Voivod, Vektor, Fear Factory, and more. Euphoria Ω absorbs inspiration from all sorts of Sci-Fi and Cyberpunk related media and dishes it out in an auditory form that they hope helps paint a picture of a retro-futuristic dystopian world that was said to take place in our modern era.

DETROIT, MI – THRASH METAL
JUSTIN KELTER – VOCALS
BUBBA COLONNA IV – LEAD GUITAR
LOUIE BADALAMENT – DRUMS
GEORGE FORD – BASS GUITAR
Euphoria have officially been a band since January 2016. Having the concept for the band (and a few written songs) since 2012, in 2015 Justin Kelter found interested guitarists Bubba Colonna IV and Eric Lemmon. From the late 2015 demise of the crust/thrash band Axe Ripper, Louie Badalament joined in as drummer, and brought along another previous member, George Ford to play bass. Bringing to the table influences from Death, Vektor, Slayer, Megadeth, Pantera, and many other different bands/styles of thrash, metal, and punk.
Starting in January 2016 Euphoria began to practice virtually non-stop. By mid-March they played their first show at New Dodge Lounge in Hamtramck, MI (where Louie is employed as full time bartender and entertainment manager). They played alongside Witchaven, Steel Bearing Hand, and Nuke to a sold out crowd of 200. Immediately after that show, they entered Mount Doom Studios in Warren, MI to record their first record, “Operation: Genesis”.
“Operation: Genesis” is a 50 minute long concept record about a supreme race of beings from another dimension, creating Earth as a project to see if they could breed another race that could surpass their own. After tried and failed efforts with the dinosaurs, they took interest into the primates. They altered the DNA and created human beings. After watching humanity go from progression to regression the other race sends nano-bots over to Earth to destroy humanity. To ensure life on earth will not prevail, they heat the earths core to implode the earth.
The record was released on June 10th, 2016 at a record release show. Another sold out gig at the same venue, playing alongside Lich King, Goblet, SNAFU, and Straight Six in Hamtramck, MI. 101.1 WRIF – Detroit’s commercial Hard Rock/Heavy Metal radio station began playing their song “Cyberschizophrenia”, helping promote record sales statewide. In August 2016, Euphoria went on their first US tour, completely booked by themselves and their friends in different cities. Touring in the US continued in the fall, and throughout the spring of 2017.
Autumn 2017 saw Euphoria, now a 4-piece after Eric Lemmon was fired, in Europe. They visited Holland, Belgium, Germany, France, Czech Republic and Poland, supporting Italian thrashers Game Over.
At the same time the new EP was released. “The Omega Void” was put on a silver disc by EvilEye records in a form of a deluxe digipak, containing a bonus disc with the (now sold out) debut full-length.
