Today, heavy metal guitarist, EUGE VALOVIRTA (Cyhra, Suburban Tribe) shares “The Game,” the second single from his forthcoming new album ‘HARDTONES’ out May 31st on Gramophone Records. The track features Samy Elbanna (Lost Society) and is accompanied by a new music video.

EUGE comments on the single: ‘ “I started to write this song with Samy in mind and when I sent the basic tracks to him my only request was that ‘just be yourself and do what you feel is the best for the song.’ When he sent me the vocal tracks back he asked if there was anything I’d like to change lyric or melody wise and I said no; it’s just how I imagined it to be and it works like a VR (Finnish Railroad Company) train’s toilet. Perfect song to start the album with all guns blazing. And the music video turned out to be amazing too! The director Joel Korhonen is the chief. It’s time to ‘Testify’!”

Samy Elbanna chimes in: “We have a long-standing history of writing pure heavy metal tunes with Euge, and once again I was so stoked to be a part of his new album when he hit me up. I got the tracks for what was going to be ‘Testify’ and immediately hit the studio and in a couple of hours I had the lyrics and tracks done! This track embodies so much of what we both have grown up listening to, and this track is a breath of fresh air for the whole metal scene at this moment! Sit back, crank your volume up, and enjoy!”

‘HARDTONES’ consists of eleven hard-hitting songs in the style of late 80s/early 90s rock and metal and features several vocalists like Jake E (Cyhra, ex-Amaranthe), Samy Elbanna (Lost Society), Olli Herman (Reckless Love, Popeda) & Pekka Heino (Brother Firetribe) to name a few.

Recorded in the spirit of Ozzy Osbourne, Van Halen, Mötley Crüe and Whitesnake with the heavy riffs and grooves of Pantera, EUGE brings the kind of music “they don’t make anymore.” Until now.
