Emerald Rage were formed in the autumn of 2016 by guitarist Patrick Kern and guitarist/lead vocalist Jacob Wherley by a common passion for bands such as Iron Maiden, Thin Lizzy, Running Wild, Helloween, and Metallica. Blending a unique style of celtic folk, classic riffs and a love for power metal, Emerald Rage has made a mark on their local region and beyond. The band has performed from Minneapolis to Pittsburgh and everywhere in between! On December 24th, 2019, the band self-released an EP titled “White Stag” which contains four tracks that would be re-recorded for the 2021 album release of “High King”.

During 2020, the band also collaborated with fellow Akron native and world renowned heavy metal singer, Tim “Ripper” Owens for a single called “The Devil’s Warhead”. Emerald Rage will continue their march into the sky and go as far as fans will take them on their quest for world success!
