Bio:
The unstoppable, 5 piece, powerhouse of groove-infused rock hailing from the Viking isles of Orkney in the North of Scotland continue with an attitude as bold and in-your-face as the wall of sound that stuns you at their live shows. Their high energy and unstoppable verve creates a frenzy among their audiences.

With one full length album (Vol. 1) already under their belt, these Norse Warriors have unleashed this second album “II” – a beast made of pure melodic thunder – to an unsuspecting world.

The band have hundreds of live shows worth of experience, gaining masses of support from fans both old and new, across Scotland and further afield. Electric Mother have supported the likes of such luminaries as Viking Skull and have carved out a solid identity as a “must see band” throughout the Scottish circuit; from the far flung north to the central belt. Also, finally breaking into England; a major highlight in being offered to open proceedings on the coveted Jaegermeister Stage at Bloodstock Open Air 2017 (voted “Best Festival under 15k” at the Live UK Music Business Awards).

Electric Mother’s immediate goal is to continue to build its following and to prick the ears of the rock masses, not only with their interactive live appearances, but also by continuing to write new and exciting material.
