Mine is a dream born about three years ago in the summer of 2016. After the failure of my second musical project I decided it was time to make a change in my musical “career”, creating something that could be considered truly concrete.

Everything started from two sick minds: mine (Riccardo Pirozzi), obviously, and the one of Stefano Brogi, my great friend and current drummer of the band.

In the following months I found the former bass player of my previous band, Andrea Lege; as soon as we proposed the project he accepted, despite the initial, normal uncertainties; he still play with us now.

We three together wrote the first piece, “Until the Last Breath”, of what would later become a much larger project: Break The Silence.

After about a year of tests and research we found our solo guitarist, Stefano D’Angelo, with whom I immediately noticed a certain musical “feeling”.

After several months of rehearsals and compositions we decided to record our first single: “Another Place to Hide”.

It was from this moment, when we heard the final version of our first single, that we decided that our project had to come to life.

We wanted a hard and impactful record, with fast and pissed-off riffs, we wanted, and we could finally throw out of our heads everything we never could have said.

So it was after the composition of the songs we began the work of recording in the studio, at the RockLab of Venaria, with the man who believed in us and gave life to our sound and our project, Andrea Polito.

This is no longer My dream born three years ago, this is now the dream of the Dust.

Il mio è un sogno nato circa tre anni fa nell’estate del 2016. Dopo il fallimento del mio secondo progetto musicale decisi che era il momento di dare una svolta alla mia “carriera” musicale, creando qualcosa che si potesse considerare realmente concreto.

Il tutto è partito da due menti malate: la mia (Riccardo Pirozzi), ovviamente, e quella di Stefano Brogi, mio grande amico e batterista attuale della band.

Nei mesi successivi ritrovai poi il mio ex bassista, Andrea Lege, appena gli proponemmo il progetto accettò, nonostante le iniziali, normali incertezze; suona tutt’ ora con noi.

Noi tre insieme scrivemmo il primo pezzo, “Until the Last Breath” , di quello che poi sarebbe diventato un progetto ben più grande : Break The Silence.

Dopo circa un anno di prove e ricerche trovammo il nostro chitarrista solista, Stefano D’Angelo, con cui il quale notai immediamente un certo “feeling” musicale.

Dopo vari mesi di prove e composizioni ci decidemmo a registrare il nostro primo singolo:  “Another Place to Hide”.

Fu da questo momento, quando sentimmo la versione finale del nostro primo singolo, che decidemmo che il nostro progetto doveva prendere vita.

Volevamo un disco “duro” e d’impatto, con riff veloci e incazzati,  volevamo , e potevamo, finalmente buttare fuori dalla nostra testa tutto ciò che non avevamo mai potuto dire.

Fu così che dopo la composizione dei brani iniziammo il lavoro di registrazione in studio, presso la RockLab di Venaria, con l’uomo che ha creduto in noi e ha dato vita al nostro sound e al nostro progetto,  Andrea Polito.

Questo non è più il Mio sogno nato tre anni fa, questo, ora, è il sogno dei Dust.
