Desolate Realm is a Heavy / Doom Metal band from Helsinki, Finland. The band was formed in 2018 and has members from Decaying, Chalice and Altar of Betelgeuze.

The debut EP “Unleash the Storm” was released February 13, 2020 on Bandcamp. The artwork was made by Bart Kurzok Illustrations and logo by Skaðvaldur.

On “Unleash the Storm”, Desolate Realm combines elements from Epic Doom Metal like Candlemass and Solitude Aeturnus with Heavy Metal such as Black Sabbath, Savatage and Metal Church, while also bringing various other influences into the mix in a seamless manner.
